It's with great relief that we can tell you that our Nepal Coordinator Gopal Tamang and his family are reportedly safe. While we are still eager to hear from him directly-- and the condition of countless others and their property is still unknown-- we are overjoyed by the news! The classroom we've been building, the children for whom we bought school uniforms, the region in which we've been doing a medical capacity survey, and have distributed nearly 1,000 pairs of shoes and boots: It's only 18 miles from the quake epicenter.
